This snowbike was my third and last portfolio piece, made for our portfolio course at school. I made a rough base of a bike at our concept course which was used in the making of a scene, but I never ended up finishing it. That's why I wanted to continue working on the bike and make something fun out of it. I ended up remaking the base of the bike to some extent, and with some helpful inspiration from classmates, I decided to turn the bike into an all-weather-compatible snowbike.
With this project I wanted to push the polycount higher than normal, but still keep it reasonable, making sure that no shape was looking too low-poly. And I personally think I managed to pull it off fairly well in that regard. All assets and materials in the scene were made by me.
This was a really fun project to work on, and I am really happy with how it turned out. I worked on this project half-time, i.e. 50%, and it took me about four weeks to complete.
A special thank you to Samuel for giving me helpful inspiration in early stages https://www.artstation.com/samuelthorslund
